The Burke Café

Hello everyone, it’s me again, and this time I’m going to post about Wednesday’s class activity that consists to visit a coffee shop to live the experience of this interesting custom here in Seattle. My team and I went to the Burke Café, it is located on the 7th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 45th Street just under the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture.

There, we had to make some questions to the employers about the most popular hot drink, the less one and the most popular iced drink, the hours of functions and if she ever saw a famous person at the coffee shop, etc.

The first thing I can tell you about the Burke Café is that it’s an amazing place, it is really cute, it looks like an old salon with wooden walls, and a large window that let the sunlight illuminate the coffee.

The girl who attended us was really nice so we found that the Pumpkin Spice Coffee is the most popular, the less one is the Green Tea Late and the weirdest (at lest for me) is the Iced Coffee, (yes!, American coffee with ice), at the beginning was kind of weird but I really liked it.

We had an amazing time there talking, knowing each other. I’m really happy to be in Seattle because I really like to drink coffee and here, everywhere and every time (well, almost every time) people are drinking coffee.

Thanks for read my blog, see you next time.

  1. Hi Antonio, It seems to be a wonderful place to stay overall with your friends and to have a good chat. I could read that Pumpkin Spice Coffee is the most popular and let me tell you when I went to another coffee that coffee is the most popular as well. So we finally found out something in common because if you may go to the Ugly Mug you will see the same beverage there!
